one last trip

In February I took one final trip home before the baby arrives. I was there for ten days and it was great. They threw me a baby shower, I attended two other baby showers, helped my brother move into his new house in Pennsylvania, spoiled my niece for an entire week, got to watch my nephew's basketball game, was able to spend time with friends I hadn't seen in awhile, celebrated my brother and sisters birthday, ate a lot of Fox's, and spent a lot of time with the family.

I arrived Friday morning and they threw me a shower on Saturday evening. There were about 40-50 people there and it was so much fun. Rob and I were truly blessed with many gifts, cash, and giftcards. I'm still not sure how I managed to get it all back to California.

I also got to celebrate my brother and sisters birthday. We just had cake and ice cream with the family. Darren was born February 12 and Natalie came seven years later on the exact same day. I think they enjoy sharing a birthday now, but I don't think Darren was too happy when it was time to celebrate his 7th birthday and mom and dad were at the hospital having a baby sister :

We drove 3.5 hours to Pennsylvania to help my brother and his wife move into their now home and then drove 4.5 hours a totally different direction to Buckhannon all in one day just so I could watch my nephew play a game during his basketball season. I think I win the super aunt award for that one :)

My best friend/cousin is due 4 weeks before me and they had a shower for her while I was home too. I'm so glad I was able to be there for it. It was a lot of fun and I can't wait to meet baby boy Hiett.
